One year ago today, Richard, Ammi and I met our team in DC and began a journey that would cement our infatuation with Africa and begin a love affair with its people. It still amazes me that The Lord would allow us to be part of His plan to show so many His love and in doing so, He would reveal Himself in indescribable ways.
Have you thought of going on a missions trip? Have you put off going until it is a better time? Have you let fear and uncertainty stagnate you in disobedience? Summer is quickly approaching and trips are plentiful, near and far, different missions, different giftings, but all for one purpose. We are all called to missions. We are all called to Go!
IF is not the question, where and who with, may be. But, don't let the details hold you back. Pray for guidance and clear direction. It will come. If you want ideas or suggestions, I would be happy to help.

This trip was life changing and only the beginning for our family. I would return to the dark continent a few months later, to Rwanda and Ammi is eagerly anticipating a Teen Missions trip to South Africa in July. But, it was in Uganda that our hearts broke. And on the 1 year anniversary of that genesis, I cannot help but feel my hurt ache for the people we became friends with. I am so thankful for the time we had, the relationships that were created and the lives that were changed. My prayer for all of you is to have an experience so richly blessed.
